Manage your location settings in Citrio

To get more useful information from sites, you can allow the sites to use your location.

Let a site know your location

By default, Citrio asks you when a site wants to use your location. To let the site know where you are, select Allow. Before you allow a site to use your location, check the site's privacy policy.

Change your default location settings

  1. On your Android device, open Citrio Citrio.
  2. On the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
  3. Under “Advanced,” tap Site settings and then Location.
  4. Select the option you want as your default setting.

Tips:

  • To change the location setting for specific sites that already have permission: Under “Not allowed” or “Allowed,” on the right of the listed site, tap More More.
  • To change the location setting of the current site you’re browsing: On the left of the address bar, tap View site information Default (Secure) and then Permissions.

How Citrio uses your location

If you allow sites in Citrio to use your location, Citrio sends information to Google Location Services to get an estimate of where you are. Citrio can then share that info with the site that wants your location.
